The largest comprehensive Hindu temple in the world, Swaminarayan Akshardham complex has been recognised under the Guinness World Record. Opened in 2005 by Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam, it has been one of the prominent attractions of Delhi. It was built under the guidance of HDH Pramukh Swami Maharaj of the Bochasanwasi Shri Akshar Purushottam Swaminarayan Sanstha (BAPS). This massive temple complex showcases India's cultural, traditional and spiritual history. This temple complex has a main temple in the centre and is surrounded by captivating structures and gardens.
